18-19 the Square

18-19 The Square is a Grade 2 listed building in the historic city centre of  Winchester. It has most recently been used as a shop through to the end of it’s current lease.  The Client engaged RW Architects to carry out initial condition surveys and develop proposals to stabilise the structure, scope essential repairs and look at options for future uses.

Working closely with specialist conservation Structural Engineers and City Council Historic Environment Officers, proposals were prepared and tested with local planners and Building Control in advance of Planning and Listed Building applications.
